When you think of evening dressing, comfortable isn’t usually the first word that comes to mind. But I like to keep it very simple & chic, which is what attracted me to this beautiful jumpsuit in the first place! I kept the styling very simple, sticking to black & red.

We photographed this outfit on the terrace of our lodge in Ooty, & looking at these pictures definitely makes me want to go back! x

This is possibly one of my favorite personal style posts of all time, because it’s understated yet glamorous. When I saw this dress at the Label store, I knew I couldn’t leave without buying it. I paired it with red & gold accents to go with the neckline detailing. I’ve been using this Fossil bag to death, because the fact that I can use it with or without straps just makes it very versatile. And it’s small enough to look elegant for parties but still deceptively roomy so it fits everything I need.

Here’s the Get Ready With Me video (GRWM in YouTube slang, haha!) that I filmed with this look. It’s basically just my everyday makeup with a few additions to make the look party ready. It doesn’t need a ton of items too & should be very easy for anyone to do, even beginners! x

I’m someone who lives quite a contemporary lifestyle. I work from home or wherever I’m travelling, more often than not at very odd hours. I’m more comfortable in dresses than saris just because they’re easy & let me move the way I want. Which is why I really loved this brand video for the LABEL by Ritu Kumar Autumn Winter 2015 collection.

To me it epitomizes a young global Indian who fancies carefully crafted, fashion forward wardrobe for her lifestyle. From maxis to dresses, tunics, jumpsuits, shirts, tops, tees, pants and skirts, the Label range offers a plethora of options for the women of today for work, every day needs as well as more formal occasions. The collection makes a statement with its indelible Ritu Kumar stamp from its vintage prints to embroideries and resonates our cultural ethos in a global fashion product.

As soon as I walked into the Label by Ritu Kumar store the first thing that caught my eye was this gorgeous maxi dress. Simultaneous on trend & timeless, it’s understated yet sure to turn heads. I loved everything from the fall of the crepe silk to it’s subtle sheen & of course the wool embroidery. I kept all focus on the dress by pairing it with block heels, wrist watch, a red bag & of course a classic red lip. While at the store I also bought a lovely shift dress that I plan to wear for holiday parties, I’m sure you’ll see it soon enough! x
