I was the same - we're so quick to pick apart our own bodies & appearances, when really we all have amazing bodies irrespective of shape & size. And what's more, bodies aren't just for looking at - they sustain us & moreover female bodie are capable of creating & growing new life too. I realized I was very foolish for letting a liiiitle extra body fat stop me from wearing whatever I wanted to wear! So that's my new motto. All it takes is a mindset change (which doesn't happen overnight, I admit!).

I loved your Instagram picture saying that who needs a specific body type to wear a bikini. You just need a bikini and a body 🙂 😀 I feel body-shaming has become so prevalent and casual these days, that when it makes us feel conscious and insecure, we don’t even feel it is wrong to feel that way about yourself. And it is posts like these that, I believe, can restore the confidence in our own selves 🙂
